Know your operational modalities in the spirit. When God gives you a mantle or he exhorts your horn, that horn becomes your security system in the spirit. The reason you find many Christians calling God when they face trouble and it looks as if God is silent is because God gave them the answer in the form of the horn. If they don’t exercise that horn, when the devil comes, they will keep shouting on God, and He will not answer, and that will look as if God is deaf to their prayers.
God is not interested in interfering in your daily life. When you see the protocol of creation and everything God created, He designed it to be running on its own. When He created the tree, he put the seed in the tree so there would be no need for him to be intervening for the tree to replicate. Whether God shows up or not, the tree will continually replicate. And so, when the tree seeks God, it is not because the tree is in need; when the tree seeks God, it is because the tree desires intimacy.
That is the same way He created you and me. He didn’t create us so that every day we call upon him, he jumps into our situation, and when He is done, he jumps out. He created us to exercise dominion. When we come to God, we are not calling upon him to intervene in our situation. We come to him because we desire him. We come to him because we want intimacy. The heaviest burden of our prayer will not be, “God, hear my prayers,” because if you don’t have intimacy with God, you swill become a user of God.
a) Become the fullness of whom you were created to become.
Everything that God created, He created it to be able to run on certain secrets, mysteries, and laws. Every time those creations turn to God, God knows why they came. They don’t come looking for answers because all the answers are already with them. If you study Mark 11, Jesus activated that principle again; he said, when you are confronted with the mountain, don’t talk to God—address the mountain. And if you address the mountain without fear or doubt in your heart, the mountain will go. Every time you come to the Lord because of a mountain, God, on account of His mercy, will intervene. But that is not the reason why God wants to be a part of your life. God has already given you authority to address the mountain. Every time you come to God, it is because you desire Him.
That is how God designed the equation. But men don’t understand the secrets that are made for their advantage. Every time you find believers praying, they are praying for interventions; it is a sign that we are not yet mature. Many years ago, as a child, I would not remember my father existed unless I had a need. And so, if I would call my father, I was looking for pocket money, or I was looking for school fees, or for something to eat. But now, if I call my father, even my father knows that I’m not calling him for anything that I need. When I call my father, I want to check up on him and find out how he is doing. If I call my father, it is because I want a relationship. This is because I have grown. When I was a child, 90% of my calls were to get something from my father. My father took time to invest in me to become a man. And now that I’m a man, he knows every time I beckon, it is because I want to talk. And sometimes I travel for hours just to go meet my dad, and we just sit down and talk. And sometimes we are not talking about anything serious; we are just talking. And when we talk for a while, we walk around the house, and he shows me some of the projects he wants to do, and I say, “Okay, don’t worry, tomorrow I’ll send money.” I will tell him, “The training you put in me is now generating money.” And even though he has a little money to handle his project, he will happily keep his money back and wait for me to send money. When I send the money, it’s not because he needs it; it gives him joy that his son is responsible.
These things are deeper than attending to our needs. When you find a generation always coming to God for intervention, something is wrong. He didn’t design it that way. That level of authority that makes you be able to live and advance the gospel without bothering God to come into the matter is tied to the secrets of these notes.
b) Becoming like Jesus Christ while on earth.
We heard stories growing up many years ago—how the witches in Benin (Nigeria) gathered together and said there would be a global meeting of witches. And when they told Benson Idahosa, he said, “Go and tell them it will not hold; I said so.” He did not say, “By the help of God.” When you hear stories, you enjoy them, but you don’t know what makes that level of power to be with a man.
And then the head of the witches said, “He is bluffing. If he likes, he should pray all he needs to pray; We will hold the meeting and do what we want.” Benson Idahosa said, “I will not pray; it is not everything we pray about.” For example, I don’t need to pray to get a car at home; I have money in my pocket. He said, “I will not pray, but go and tell them it will not hold.” The witches said, “Even if God comes down, the meeting will hold.” He said, “God doesn’t need to come down; I am here.” And as if that was not enough, he organized a national challenge with the head of the witches.
And when they came for the meeting and they began to speak, the witch said the meeting will hold. Benson looked at him and said, “You are not even a witch. If you say you are a witch, I will kill you.” And on national television, the man who was bluffing said, sorry. Nobody prayed to Jesus, nobody called on the Father, and nobody called on the name of the Lord, but somebody who knew authority stood and said, “God doesn’t need to come; I am here.”
1 Corinthians 11:1 “Be ye followers of me, even as I am the follower of Christ.”
This scripture means: in case you don’t see Jesus, when you see me (Paul), you have seen Him. That’s what God wants us to do. But all of these possibilities operate in an economy that we call the economy of the glory. When the glory is present, the glory does not just come to address need; the glory comes to make men become like God.
c) We have all fallen short of the glory of God.
Genesis 1:26: “Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness; let them have dominion.”
God did not say, “Let us help them have dominion.” So long as they are able to carry our glory, dominion will become a byproduct. But unfortunately, the man sinned and fell from glory. And so, when Paul came to unveil the crisis of the man, he did not say, “The man was weak.”
Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”
According to this scripture, the man is sick because he has fallen short of the glory of God. The reason the man is defeated is because the man has fallen short of the glory of God. When the glory of God is restored, that man will come back to the place of dominion and will begin to function on earth like a god.
The truth is, what God wanted to create was to create other gods. The idea was not to create a man who is mundane. They called him a man because he’s a god living on earth. The man was the carrier of the fullness of divinity, and he was an expression of divinity. When man lost God, he lost everything. He began to struggle like an animal because the life of the flesh began to rule him. But before he fell, he was not designed to walk by the life of the flesh. He was designed to walk by the God-life. That means when the man shows up, God shows up—and God does not have to come in person, but if you see man, you see God. Anything you are looking for, the moment the man comes, the man provides it, and you do not need to call God. And when you look at the man, you will know that this man that is doing this thing is doing it by something else that is hidden. And so, when you meet the man, the man will lead you to the God that is hidden on his inside—this is the mystery of this age.
Colossians 1:26: “God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
God hid himself in the man and allowed the man to manifest Him. And so, when you touch the man, you touch the God that is on his inside. When the man loses the ability to host and manifest God, every time he has a problem, he goes back to call on God to come and handle the matter.
God wanted to be trapped in the man so that when the man handles the problem, God handles the problem; when the man deals with the matter, God deals with the matter. Unfortunately, man didn’t understand what God has created. He didn’t know that God wanted to talk, but He wanted to talk through the man. He didn’t know that God wanted to work wonders, but He wanted to work wonders through the man. The man still thinks that God wants to come out and manifest Himself and go back inside of him. God knows how to manifest Himself, and He did that for eons before the angels.
If you study heaven in Revelation 4 and 5, the Bible says, “God appears on the throne by Himself.” God does not manifest in heaven through any agency; God manifests in heaven by Himself. And for eons, no angel has been able to look upon Him. The moment He appears, they fall on their faces. So, it was impossible for God to have a relationship with them. This time around, He is not intending to manifest Himself by Himself, but to manifest Himself through you (the man), such that you become the theater that gives expression to God.
When God is not handled on the inside of a man, the man does not only lose the ability to reflect God, he loses his dominion, and so every day he is calling on God to come and answer his prayers.
d) Understand the difference between scriptures and revelations.
There are verses in scripture where God encourages people to call upon Him; however, you need to understand the difference between revelation and scriptures. You may quote scriptures and be correct in that dispensation, but when God moves, that your scripture that is correct may not be conformed to revelation. I give you an instance: when we are dealing with the subject of healing, in the book of Exodus 25:23, the Bible says, “You shall remember the Lord your God, you shall serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless thy bread and thy waters, and He shall remove sickness from the midst of thee.”
That is a scripture, and it is correct. And till today, people are serving God for Him to remove sickness from their body, and because their faith is released, God heals them. But in revelation, God is no longer there because you don’t have to serve God to be healed.
Isaiah 53:5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
So, we are no longer debtors to sickness. A man who has this revelation is superior to the man who has just the scriptures. The man who has the first revelation is trying to scrub the floor in order to have fruit of the womb; this man lives in a lower revelation. Another man does not need to scrub the floor. Another man is just praising God because he has come to the realization that by His stripes he was healed. And so, when sickness tries to attack him, he will look back to the cross and say, “Satan, you have no place here.” So, when this man is scrubbing the floor, it is an act of worship; he is not bargaining with God. While one is scrubbing the floor and bargaining with God, saying, “Lord, give me the fruit of the womb and give me a son,” another one is scrubbing the floor and dancing and singing and praising God. Both of them are doing the same thing, but from a different revelation. One is doing it to receive; another one is doing it because he has already received. One is trying to get the solution; another one has gone past the solution.
Meanwhile, there is yet another who is not just looking at the cross anymore but is functioning at another level.
The Bible says, “If that same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in your mortal body, it will quicken your body.”
So, this other man is not just trusting God for healing; he doesn’t know whether sickness exists. When you talk about sickness, he can ask you, “What does that mean?” And you look at him and say, “Are you crazy?” He’s in another world entirely. Here, he’s functioning by higher revelation. It is a realm where sickness cannot exist. Those are the kinds of dimensions that men like John Gilead had. The plague that others were trusting God not to contact—when the plague touched him, the plague died; the virus touched him, the virus died. It’s not something for everyone to just say, “If I touch the virus too, it will die.” It depends on the world you are walking in. When you enter revelation, that revelation becomes a civilization. The man who said, “That same Spirit that is in me quickens my body,” that man doesn’t pray for healing; that man walks in divine health.
If you ask him about sickness, he will laugh at you because it is a different world entirely. There is a difference between quoting scripture and walking in revelation. Revelation is a spectrum. In science, you know the white light you see is not white. This white light you see is a combination of seven colors. When the light passes through a spectrum, it will divide into seven. You will be shocked to see red inside this white light. You will be shocked to see green inside this white light. When you are quoting isolated scripture, it is like digging out individual light in the spectrum. But a man who has revelation has embodied the whole spectrum of light.
A time will come when, if you are doing kingdom business, you cannot afford to waste time praying to be healed because there are territories you will enter where your first step will be met with sickness and death. There are places God will send you to, and there will be plagued. You need to carry something that makes you live above the realm of sickness to be able to do kingdom there. If you have not come to that level of revelation, then your walk with God will be limited.
e) All Christians should function in the realm of Glory
God made us to function in the realm of the glory. In the realm of glory, you don’t call on God to come answer the question. In the realm of the glory, you become the reflector of God; anything you touch, God touches and anything you say, God says. At that level, you operate in the rulership dimension. When the devil came, he(devil) was smart. He didn’t take food from the man. He knows if he takes food from the man and the glory is there; the man will not need to eat, just like Moses was in the glory for 40 days, he didn’t eat and he didn’t notice. And so, if the devil came to take food or fruit from the man, the man may not have noticed because in the glory, you may not even be hungry. So, the devil may keep the food for a Lifetime and the man may not even notice because in the glory you live beyond time. If the devil keeps food for 100 years, the man may think it is one second and maybe he eats after 6 hours, that means the devil will have to Keep that food for 6000 years before the man notices. When the devil came, he didn’t take anything that was material from the man, he went for the one thing that makes the man operate like a god; He went for the glory. And the moment the man lost the glory, he lost everything.
If you like, give him food, He will need food again, and if you like give him money, he will need money again. Because this time around it was not just about what he handles, it is a vacuum that has been created in his soul that makes him desire things other than God. When God wanted to solve the problem of the man, God knew that what the man needed was not the healing, what the man needed was not money nor fame; God knew that what the man needed was what he lost in the first place—the glory of God. God showed up and he began to create a system that will restore the man back to the glory. But for God to arrive at that point, he needed to deal with some obstacles that the man faces. When Jesus was manifested, the first thing Jesus did was to address the things that the man was suffering from.
Luke 4:18-19: “the spirit of the Lord is upon me now.”
That was the realm Jesus was operating in. If you are operating at that realm, you are superior to the man who possesses things. He said that because the spirit of the Lord is upon him, He (the Lord) has empowered him (Jesus) to preach the gospel to the poor. The first question and issue Jesus had to deal with was the issue and question of poverty. And poverty in this sense was not lack, poverty in this sense was the depravity of the glory of God. Jesus had the fullness of God and so he was not poor, but he came to a world that has poverty.
The first thing Jesus did was to preach the gospel to them, to let them know that there is something coming which is superior to healing because everybody who was healed, later died again. He came to unveil that there is something coming that is superior to money; which is the economy of the glory. You need to be brought to a point where you can say, “the Spirit of the Lord is upon me.” But before you get down to that, you need to deal with the crisis that you faced.
And Jesus said, “the broken hearted were healed. Those who were deaf, their ears were healed. Those who were blind, their eyes were opened. Those who were in prison, are delivered from captivity.” You have to, first of all, deal with the crisis the man is going through. That’s why it is difficult to preach the gospel to somebody who is hungry. The hungry will ask you first, “Can you spare some change. I want to buy bread. I know this your message is a strong message, I am sorry, let me eat first”
James was teaching and said, “pure religion is one that visits the widow; Help the orphan.” That’s the only time you find religion in Christianity; in the place of charity. When Jesus came, he needed to do charity first.
Act 10:38: “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power. Who went about doing good, healing all that were oppression of the devil, because God was with him”
But what God wanted to do was not healing, if it was healing, there wouldn’t have been need for Jesus to come because before Jesus came, men we’re being healed. What Jesus came to do was not to bless men to become wealthy; before Jesus came there were mighty prophets that could change the fortune of people. Elijah stood and said, “by this time tomorrow…” He changed the economy just by talking and the Prime Minister laughed and doubted him. And Elijah said, “because you laughed, your will see it but you will not enjoy it”. And the moment things changed, the man was trampled upon.
If it was the economic situation that was the issue, they won’t have been no need for Jesus to come, because the challenges of man, apart from the glory, was handled before Jesus came. The moment Jesus came, the first thing He did was to tell the man how to operates. Jesus operates under the cloud of the glory because the spirit of the Lord was upon him. That means whatever Jesus does for you, if you have not come to that point where people can say, “for God was with him” becomes your experience, then you have not received anything from God. but in order for man to understand Jesus, He (Jesus) needed to show man what happens when they say, “God is with you.” He needed to show man what happens when somebody is walking under the glory.
A time came, they told Jesus, “Lazarus is sick and bedridden.” Jesus ignored and He continued doing what he was doing. Few days later, they came and said, “Don’t worry, he’s dead now.” The moment they said Lazarus was dead, that was the moment Jesus got ready to go. He wasn’t just trying to raise the dead, he was showing man what it looks like to walk in the glory because he was going to leave the earth soon, and when he leaves the earth, he is going to bring men under the glory.
When you come under the glory, you are not coming to receive what Jesus was giving, you are actually coming to become like the Jesus that gave. But for you to understand how the glory economy works, Jesus needed to show you. And so, when somebody dies, Jesus comes there and says, “He is asleep” That means in the glory realm, you cannot die because death does not exist there. In the Holy glory realm, whatever you call a situation, that’s what it is. When Adam was in Eden, the Bible says whatever name he calls the animals, that was the name thereof. In the glory, anything you call that thing becomes that thing. Meaning that, you can be going through crises but say, “no, this is journey to greatness” then wait for a while, you will discover that the thing you call crisis, becomes the reason for your lifting. You can be going through pains and people get agitated but you say, “No, God is working on me; there is a power coming into my life.”
And after a while, you go out and people will see power that they cannot explain because in the glory, two things happen, death does not exist and whatever you call a situation, that’s what it is.
when Lazarus died, Jesus said, “Let’s go and wake him up” and Thomas said, “In the realm of men, when somebody dies, that’s all for him” and Jesus said, “No, He’s asleep; In the realm of glory men do not die.” When Jesus got there, they said, “Oh, if you were here, he would not have died” because in the realm of mortals, there is such a thing as too late but in the realm of glory, time does not exist. In the glory, there is no too early and there’s no too late. The reason is because whatever you call it, that’s what it is. And so, any time you come is the right time. Jesus told them, “Have I not told you before. If thou woudest believe, thou shoudest see the glory of God”
In the glory anything is possible; healing exists there, and resurrection exist there. Because they could not listen, he pushed them aside and went to the front of the tomb and said, “Lazarus, come forth” and He that was dead came back to life.
