John 1:5 “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
1) Continue to Grow in Christ Always
Satan is a major hindrance but not the only hindrance to living a victorious life in Christ. That means if God prohibits the influence of Satan in this world, many people will still be failures.
Most prayer requests were designed to be answered through growth. Most of the things we call prayer requests are simply a testament to our growth deficiency. The trajectory of the concern of life diminishes with growth. As you grow in the spirit and understanding of the word of God, the weight of the concerns of life dwindles to zero.
Growth was designed as an automatic spiritual and physical transition. When you contest for growth, many prayer requests will cease to exist. Those prayer requests will be submerged by the arrival of growth. You will not need to pray for certain things in your life because the capacity for growth in you has disallowed certain situations to exist. So, when we grow in understanding and power, many issues of concern will no longer exist.
2) Study the Nature, Widom and Works of Christ
We need to come into the fullness of Christ to manifest and reflect Christ. There are dimensions to the study of Christ that a man must access to enjoy the fullness of Christ.
- The study of His nature: you must understand the character of Christ.
- His wisdom: the ways of God.
- His works: the power of God.
These three dimensions represent the expression of the fullness of Christ. To understand Christ fully is to study his nature and character and access his wisdom—the mind of Christ. And you must understand his works—the power of God that is dispensed, which brings forth the wonders on our globe.
As seen in John 1:5, light can shine and erode darkness: Such light can only be found in Christ—His nature.
Ephesians 4:18
Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
God loves everybody, but our possibilities in life are not the same. Our possibilities in life and destiny, as far as manifesting the glory of God is concerned, are predicated upon many factors, and the love of God is not necessarily one of them.
3) Overcome ignorance by striving for Kingdom knowledge
Romans 10:12 “For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.”
God dispenses his love unvaryingly to all believers. His love was shared abroad on an even kneel by the Holy Spirit. Having stated the fact of God’s love, why is there so much disparity in our Christian experiences? On one hand, is a believer excelling and living a victorious life while on the other hand is another believer grieving and painfully defeated.
I believe the sole cause of these differences is ignorance. The gospel of salvation sustains the power to transit an unbeliever. When you hear the gospel and believe it, you are grafted into Christ.
Romans 11:17 “But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree—some of the people of Israel—have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree.”
There is a transition and a translation that happens in the spirit when we receive Christ. Becoming a believer is not enough; there is still work to be done. The kingdom you have received is knowledge-dependent. To release the potential of the new life you have received depends on the in-depth intuition of the components of the Kingdom (Christ Jesus). The Bible refers to them as mysteries of the kingdom.
Mathew 13:11 “He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.”
Many believers are in the Kingdom of God but are unable to explore the riches of the spirit life. They are deficient in the kingdom knowledge. They are blurred by the fact that excellence in the kingdom requires only one key—the in-depth knowledge of Jesus.
John 14:16 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
When you come into the Kingdom, keys are made available to you—the mysteries by which you route your ways. Many believers live ineffective spiritual lives. They live in causality instead of authority. They do not utilize the spiritual resources: the word of God, the ministry of prayer, and the investment of the Holy Spirit. The reason is ignorance of the kingdom’s mysteries.
4) Contest for Kingdom light which discloses every hidden thing
Our possibilities in this kingdom are based on the depth and the capacity of light that we access.
1Timothy 2:4 “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”
Paul reveals to us God’s desire for all men. God desires that all men should be saved. It is God’s first desire, in order of priority. He desires that all men be saved, and when they are saved, they don’t stand still but begin the journey of coming to the knowledge of the truth.
Isaiah 60:1-3
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
The glory of God is made manifest in the life of a believer exclusively in the presence of light. Many believers are not able to step into the fullness of this victorious life because of the absence of light—their light wanes because of ignorance.
There are three compositions of Light:
- Light in the kingdom connotes knowledge.
- Light in the kingdom connotes revelation.
- Life in the kingdom connotes illumination.
Believers’ work with God comprises knowledge, revelation, and illumination. These are keys that help believers to experience and manifest God’s glory.
Luke 15:8-10 “Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost!’ In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Every time a man’s dignity, or courage is lost, God’s recommended solution is that the man should have access to light.
The parable of the lost coin was a revelation of how the kingdom operates. So, for any treasure hidden in the dark, the first solution is to access light. Light is dominion. Many believers are deficient in this extreme light in Christ and, therefore, unable to walk in dominion. They sing of dominion, shout about dominion but very few believers have been able to step into the experience of dominion.
5) Be conscious of the fact that we are mandated by God to have dominion
Genes 1:28 “God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
God gave us that mandate. We are supposed to be expressions of His glory to dumbfound principalities and powers.
Ephesian 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
There is an ordination upon every believer to manifest the life of God on earth. It is God’s goal for us in heaven and on earth. We have a mandate to display the Glory of God. The Bible calls us living epistles—books that are alive. Men can learn about God by merely looking at you. Your life becomes a compendium of testimonies—a revelation of the wonderful working power of God.
I pray, in Jesus’ name, that this be your testimony. In the name of Jesus Christ, your life becomes too glorious to be ignored.
Mathew 5:6 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
6) Live a Continuous Fruitful Life and Seek Truth
John 15:6 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
If you truly love God and desire to glorify him, your life must bear fruits always. The glory of the local church, as we rejoice and celebrate, is not just based on the will of God but the continuous presence of light.
Do you know the degree of the effect that the presence or the bankruptcy of light can produce in the life of a believer? The Bible says, “Having their understanding darkened.” It does not even factor the presence of Satan but solely, the absence of light. In diagnosing their state, it says, “having their understanding darkened.” Being alienated from the life of God through ignorance.
This height of defeat should not be present in a believer’s life. Being a believer will not scare the defeat away. It becomes and remains your lot only in the continuous presence of darkness.
Dominion in any area in this kingdom is based on sufficient knowledge of the ways of God. This knowledge unravels the capability to walk in dominion in any discipline: finances, relationships, ministry, and career. All of these depend on the kind and magnitude of the light you command.
The truth we know is insufficient to command the dominion we desire. We are not necessarily in total ignorance, but there is a requisite level of spiritual knowledge to control the wholesomeness of life. You have not been given the liberty to freelance your knowledge onto victory. There has to be a high level of spiritual illumination that can drive the darkness out of your life.
7) Tighten your belt of Confidence
Psalms 45:4 “And in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness; And Your right hand shall teach You awesome things”
Your triumph in life and destiny is because of truth. Truth brings stability. It is a belt. It saves you from shame and embarrassment.
Imagine you skip around with an oversized and beltless trouser. What will happen? Truth is a belt of confidence. You can skip and rejoice and scale heights without fear of it falling off your waist.
Many people desire to walk in health, live long, and excel in their finances, but all through, they give a cold shoulder to the belt of confidence. As a result, they go through indefinite, prolonged pain. Their pains infect their mind to redefine God atrociously, such as God does not care.
The kingdom of God is a compendium of limitless possibilities. Find a way of believing this. It is all left to your expectations and faith. There is nothing God cannot do. There is no height that a believer cannot attain. We are the zenith of God’s creation and the apex of his creativity. He invested time in making man. We are not weak. We don’t yet possess the noble science of self-defense, which is the comprehension of the system that He built around our optimal function.
The versions of iPhones are numerous. These iPhones will produce the same result in the presence of ignorance. All the iPhones, from version 7-15, will produce the same effect depending on who holds it. What gives value to the iPhone in addition to the version is the orientation of the holder. If the person holding it does not know it is a phone, he can throw it in the water.
8) Narrow your tolerance of ignorance
This is what ignorance does. It can turn anything valuable into an object of shame. The extent of its usage reflects the holder’s intelligence and tolerance of ignorance. So many situations in our lives are a report to our deficiency. They reveal things that are deficient in us.
Sometimes, we point at these situations to change. We even fast and pray and obtain zero results. The situation says, “I came as a testament: there is a need for transformation in your life.”
There are strategies to undertake ministry that you will fail from the start—such that the destiny of that journey is a failure. No demon has to attack you. The level of spiritual laws that you violated is a sure ticket to doom—demons will laugh and let you be. There is a way to do business that you will fail from the start: It does not matter who sponsors you. There is a way you raise children that is almost sure that they will become troublemakers.
We have been given exceeding great and precious promises. It says, “By them, we might be the partakers of his divine nature.” God has spoken great things about you and me. Our walk in that experience of great things does not just depend on God’s will but our persistence in light. The prophets may prophesy and pour anointing upon you, but in the presence of darkness, you will still languish in all downfall of life.
God brought us to the feast of light to tear down the veils that hinder us from experiencing the divine life. Also, it reveals why certain situations don’t change despite prayers and prophetic words. The Bible says, “Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.” Desire is important, but not enough. You respond to that desire by separating yourself—or denying yourself.
When you say, “I am tired of this financial situation.” or “I am faked out of this spiritual backslide.” Lamenting over it does not produce a solution. It is human to weep, but blubbing does not produce results. Did Lazarus come out of the grave because Jesus wept? Jesus cried and toweled his tears and engaged a principle. What brought Lazarus out was a prophetic declaration and not the tears of Jesus—His tears brought about no miracle.
Weeping and crying over situations is human, and no one can criticize. When you are done sniveling, call forth light, and the darkness will vanish.
Prophetic declaration.
I prophesy over you, in the name of Jesus, the era of walking in darkness, confusion is over. The days of demonic free entry and escape over your life are terminated. Having been a victim of happenstance, I command restoration. I pray that after reading this post, light will bring predictability to your life, your result, and your Christian experience.
You will begin to build your destiny with intentions. You will not just accept things that happen to you. You will not just become a victim of life’s unpredictability but a forerunner of your destiny. You will participate actively and build your destiny. And when you see it, you will say, “This is how God showed me, and this is how I intended it to be.”
God should create an appetite in you to fight ignorance as though you are fighting the devil. The same passion you use to fight Satan, fight ignorance.
Most of us have gaps in our spiritual understanding and, as a result, are impotent to rise to the level of mastery that our destinies require.
2Timoth 2:5 “And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.”
Every dimension of grace in the kingdom is accessible through light. Whatever you have seen in your dream, scripture comes through light. And light means knowledge, illumination, and revelation.
